Mayer Hawthorne ends his two-month long US Tour on April 15th in San Francisco. To commemorate the occasion, Stones Throw has teamed up with local powerhouse Huf and designer Freegums on an exclusive Mayer Hawthorne collabo pack featuring a T-Shirt + Heart-Shaped USB with Mayer Hawthornes rendition of Tony Bennets classic I Left My Heart In San Francisco pre-loaded onto each USB.

Ledge Session At Taman KB

I would like to say thanks especially for Ditto and Fachry Gagak rimang who has helped me to moved the ledge from my house to the spot Taman KB and also all friends, Erdha, Ucil, Boii, Gepeng, Jeery, Nges, and all. Let's do this again for next weekend. Streets has it's own rules. We had 10 more photos that you must see, just click the image or the knuckleknife to see the photos.

GSD ( Go Skateboarding Day )

HISTORY
The name for the holiday possibly originated from the "No Skateboarding" signs which often has been changed to "Go Skateboarding." by local skaters. The holiday was conceived by the International Association of Skateboard Companies (IASC) to help make skateboarding more accessible to the world through various events held in major cities around the world. Beginning with the first celebration in 2004, GSD has since received Special Congressional Recognition from the US Congress for promoting the sport of skateboarding. This holiday is celebrated by millions of skaters around the world. [2][3]5boro Skateboards founder/owner, Steve Rodriguez, runs the New York City chapter of Go Skateboarding Day, and with thousands of participants in tow each year, GSD NYC is considered one of the largest single gatherings of skateboarders in the world.

The design you've seen above will be printed on a sticker. Sorry, maybe you don't understand what we are doing now, why we made and wrote a text "skateboard" on a twentygrand sticker? Ok maybe it sounds gay. Yes, our root basically in BMX, but is it a big mistake to support each other scene? No, I don't think so, in an open and positive mind we have to support each other without any exception even for other scene, we have to work hand in hand to raise up your own scene and hometown so they can believe about our existence.

We do this all are just to raise up "S-Town Skateboarding local scene" that rarely exposed by the media ( TV, Magazine, e-zine, or Blog ). Whereas after we get into the street, we are surprised cause we saw so many new blood that have a great talent. Sadly, the media in general they only exposed a skateboarder that has so many achievements in skate competition as their measuring rod, proper or not a skateboarder to be exposed in their media, i think they are and that was sucks!

If I could ask you now, is there any local media that expose and raising up the S-Town Skateboard scene? The most thing i've seen in this past few years are S-Town still targeted for being a consumers about skate info from outside Semarang than from their own hometown, just lets say a free Magazine start by a letter "H", the most thing that I've seen from the contents are just ads (ads:advertise), too many info about skateboarder from outside S-Town but less info about S-Town skate scene. Long time ago we had a lil chit-chat in personal with one of S-town local skateboarder, he had the same perspective mind with us but it just came to an idea and never come to be realized cause less support from the local skateboarder and they are too busy having fun with their skateboard deck without thinking how to raise up their own skate local scene.

Then what are we gonna do for S-Town skateboarder scene? Were not gonna be "Mr. Mee-too" by making a skateboard decks like our friend does and from a rumors that i heard he claimed his skateboard deck are purely local product but why he endorse skateboarder from outside S-Town? Such a weird. Hmm maybe it's about making money by using skateboard culture to make a profit by endorsing skill full skateboarder.

We only got blog, passion, Camcorder, and DSRL Camera, thats all our weapon to fight. We will be documenting about s-town skateboard local scene in every movement, but without any support from you all it couldn't be happened. Keep supporting us, for real. If anyone knows more about S-Town local scene please drop off a comments! More++

New York City finally is closing down the Brooklyn Banks. They’re using the area for storage while restoring the bridge until 2014. Who knows if it will ever be the same. A true tragedy.
